Hard to believe, but the first Australian Group 1 for 2025 is here already.
Caulfield plays host this Saturday to the C.F. Orr Stakes, with a top-quality field led by teh great old stager Mr Brightside (pictured).
Elsewhere on the Caulfield card, the two-year-olds have their final tune-ups in the Blue Diamond Prelude, the three-year-olds tackle the Autumn Stakes, the fillies match motors in the Peter Le Grand Stakes and the older sprinters duke it out in the Rubiton Stakes.
At Randwick the features are the Eskimo Prince, the Lonhro Plate and the $2 million Inglis Millennium for qualified two-year-olds.
There's also black-type racing at Morphettville (Premier's Plate) and Ascot (Cyril Flower Stakes).
Our form coverage kicks off on Friday with a full guide to The Valley plus fields/colours/tips/overviews for all the other TAB action.
